Policy Issues

Serving in Annapolis the last four years has been an honor and a challenge I have successfully met. During my first term, I have developed many close relationships with fellow delegates, senators, and democratic leadership, enabling me to be an effective representative for Montgomery County to the Maryland General Assembly.  Having earned the respect of my colleagues I look forward to returning to Annapolis and using these relationships, as well as my expertise, to promote sound progressive public policy for the district and all of Maryland.

For the thousands of constituents that have contacted me over the years, my solid voting record of 100% on education, labor and environmental issues will speak for itself.  For others wanting to know more about me, I have briefly highlighted some of my major policy positions in this section.
